  1. Good idea on reinforcing order of operations. You may want to provide an example to show exactly how it works.

  2. I think PEMDAS is a great tool! I will use this to help me remember the order of operations properly.

I do think I get order of operations. I will continue practicing order of operations with PEMDAS in mind.

  3. I think of " Please Excuse of My Dear Aunt Sally too." I like the layout for the order of operations and the color make it easy to memorize. I will understand it better after some practice. Great exit ticket for a math class.

  4. Acronyms are always useful when trying to remember multiple parts of something. I think PEMDAS is a great way to remember order of operations. It ranks up there with FOIL when I think about mathematical expressions. I always used "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" because I tend to do better with statements rather than just acronyms.

I think I will get this material pretty well, but I will also practice more in my spare time.

  5. I often learn things better through mnemonic devices. I learned my planets that way as a child, and now I can learn how to perform math equations! I hope more of your math problems can be solved in this way.
